Review – CRUSH3D [3DS]

The relationship between the Doc and Marty from Back to the Future has been a respectful one. However the relationship between the Doc and Danny in CRUSH3D feels more sinister. Instead of simply travelling through time the Doc has made Danny his guinea pig to test his mind exploring machine called C.R.U.S.H. (Cognitive Regression Utilising pSychiatric Heuristics, clever use of avoiding making it say C.R.U.P.H) to win recognition.



Review: Tales of The Abyss [3DS]

Tales of The Abyss was originally released on the Playstation 2 in Japan back in 2005, America in 2006 and never received a European release. So even as an old game, to us PAL gamers it’s a new one. In true spiteful style we have got this 3DS remake a few months before it will be released in NTSC format…



In the majority of Mario games, the plumber has taken centre stage. In Mini Land Mayhem! however he takes a back seat and lets his clockwork companions the Minis do the work for him once again.


Weyard, the land that the Golden Sun series is set in, has never had it easy. The building blocks of reality called Alchemy are made up of the four elements: Earth, Water, Fire and Wind. This power was deemed too great a threat to the people of Weyard and as such was sealed away. This however turned out to be even worse as the land started to decay as Alchemy was the source of the world’s vitality…


Pokémon Rangers are keepers of the peace in a way that Officer Jenny is nothing like. Rangers use their Styler to convince Pokémon to befriend them and assist them in a variety of missions. The main villains this time around are a group of people who like to pinch Pokémon with the uninspired name ‘The Pokémon Pinchers’…


Review – Alice in Wonderland [DS]

“Inspired by” is normally another term for “copied” which initially feels the case with Alice in Wonderland but soon these feelings subside. As per the Tim Burton movie (which the game claims to have been based on) Alice is brought back to Wonderland/Underland ten years after her adventures in the Lewis Carroll books…
