Normally I, as well as many others, would use Pokébeach as a resource for getting my full set Pokémon TCG set scans way before it’s release. However they appear to be lax of late, I thought it might’ve just been me after being blocked from their Twitter for practically calling them frauds. Can post the picture again if you’d like. Other than that I thinkg they’ve been busy teaching their writers some bad habits – mainly to ensure they fellate themselves in the first couple of paragraphs and, if a “Premium Article”, try to suck up to you so you’ll pay for the rest.

Pokémon Rangers are keepers of the peace in a way that Officer Jenny is nothing like. Rangers use their Styler to convince Pokémon to befriend them and assist them in a variety of missions. The main villains this time around are a group of people who like to pinch Pokémon with the uninspired name ‘The Pokémon Pinchers’…

It’s hard to write something new about a game series, which for the majority has changed so little. The formula with Pokémon has always been the same: catch, battle, become a Pokémon master. Unlike the Final Fantasy series, for example, where the mechanics are generally the same but the storyline differs majorly within each game. This isn’t meant to sound like a complaint…

Pokémon has come in leaps and bounds since its first release in Japan 13 years ago, each with their own “added extra” version. Red & Blue had Yellow, Gold & Silver got Crystal. Ruby and Sapphire received Emerald. Forgetting about Fire Red and Leaf Green, now Pearl and Diamond have Platinum version. Each also had a unique spin on why you must buy this version if you’ve already bought the original version. Pikachu, Suicine, Rayquaza… Now it’s Giratina’s turn…

The Pokémon Ranger formula is a marvellous one. If you stripped it of its Pokémon veneer, it would still be as fun. The original Pokémon Ranger title was a refreshing angle to the “Gotta Catch ‘Em All” motto and fun game, albeit a little short. Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia sets out to build upon this, with a few tweaks of its own.
